I’ve know this, soon to be, groom since he played with lego. Ok, maybe he’d still play with lego if given a chance.

To be honest…. I’d love to play with some lego today!

So when these two love birds asked me to shoot their engagement photos I was THRILLED!!! We had so much fun at Baker Park in Calgary, where they had their first date AND where they got engaged! Damion and Jumè were willing to do all of my silly ideas and gave me nothing but magic.

I’m in love with every shot of this engagement session. I truly feel this is the best shoot I’ve ever done. Just lighting in a bottle with two young people who are head over heels in love with each other and weren’t afraid to show the world.

paulson family session

I’ve known this family for a few years so I was thrilled when they asked me to shoot their family portraits.  We had a cold windy evening, in Fishcreek Park and we were praying the rain would hold off for us and it did.

Yippee!!!

They were so much fun, everything I wanted them to do, including the “super slow-mo walk, while pretending you’re having the time of your life”, they nailed.
